Well Taylored

Milwaukee

The Bucks make a more interesting move, acquiring two really good players (and movable assets) in Bane and Jackson. Hard to imagine them getting a top line player under 25 or a top pick this year for the Freak. Instead, they acquire a slew of good players—and those who new coach Taylor Jenkins is well acquainted. Could do a lot worse than a Rollins-Bane-Jackon-Turner core, with a lot of tick for da Silva, Sensabaugh, Dieng, and Green.

Orlando

Sean Sweeney reunites with his former star player, maintaining an elite defensive infrastructure while shaping a more sensical, well-rounded roster. I'd play Black-Bailey as the backcourt, with Franz and Giannis on the wings, and their standard rotation of bigs. Suggs can fill in at times, but I think (between health and shooting inconsistency) he is better positioned as a sixth man.

Utah

The Jazz give up a lot to get a lot. Lauri gets rewarded for all his years, and I really like the pairing with he and Paolo. The move gives them the flexibility to re-sign Kessler, and they keep their top pick this year. Taking either AJ or Peterson, sliding them next to Keyonte and creating a frontcourt with Paolo, Lauri, Cody Williams, Kessler, and Nurkic is not too shabby. Time to start competing.

Brooklyn

The Nets trade less money for an expiring deal. Helps Milwaukee maneuver better today, while not in any way changing Brooklyn's outlook heading into 2026-27.
