What this trade means for both teams?

This basically means that Boston gets an upgrade in guards with both Cory Joseph and Hamidou Diallo coming to the team. The loss of Grant Williams may be hard for some Celtics fans and I'm sorry for that but I truly believe that Boston would do this. Especially because Diallo is 23 and a very athletic player. When it comes to Finishing or Rebounding, Diallo is the perfect package. And his FG% is the average between 46-47. Joseph shot 41% from the last season and Livers can be put on a two - way.

This means that Detroit gets basically a younger Cory Joseph but younger and a bit more developed. Both shot 41% percent from 3.
