I need to start catching up, too far behind

WIZARDS: B

  • Great trade, so you are soaking up some money here, but your getting a very good mentor for your players and a first round pick, its a very interesting asset for the future. You also get a 1st round pick from last year in AJ Johnson who hasn't been great, hasn't got many minutes but we expected that. A very weird pick from the Bucks, was not expected to go that high.

  • So this is actually confusing how they got that much value from. really disappointing Kuzma and Pat Baldwin Jr, you do give up a second this year which we know is quite valuable because of the depth in the draft this year, but that first swap is very valuable. the players do not have any value if they stay with your team. Khris Middleton is going to mentor your young guys and you take a flyer on AJ Johnson.

  • I really love this trade for them, its a B

BUCKS: C+

  • I understand why this happens and there's some really interesting factors within this, but its overall confusing to destroy the continuity of this team which I think they've benefited from in their somewhat improved play this year. to get Kyle Kuzma. Not only that you're losing a playoff riser in Khris Middleton. Now I give them a C+ because I think they move in the right direction in terms of getting younger and escaping the second apron, maybe you can negotiate a better deal with Kuzma when his deal expires as he seems to be open to losing money for improvements when he dropped his trade kicker. But I just dislike losing continuity for a team of this age and this ambitions when you have a key piece for your team and your moving him and assets for Kyle Kuzma who hasn't been impressive this year. But he has had to play a large role. if I can see him buy into playing his role for the Bucks he could be super effective. But yeah it's somewhat risky, you have to be super confident in Kuzma and his ability and fit. But I don't hate it especially due to the money situation. I do appreciate that if they want to win more you have to make a trade because wins just doesn't appear out of nowhere.

  • Yeah its ok, C+
