Lakers: This trade will get them a center and draft assets to use for another potential trade down the line. Obviously Capela is not the youngest option at the moment, but they could move him again in the offseason for a younger option if they want to. Reaves hurts to lose, but he will likely not be a key piece moving foward, and Doncic mostly takes over his role and more. Gabe Vincent is playing far lower than his salary right now, and the second round swap feels like a fair deal
Hawks: The Hawks are a bit trickier. It seems hard to believe that they would give a pick to move on from Capela, but the return is a starting caliber player in his own right, and both players could possibly have their values raised by the increase opportunity(Reaves could be flipped in the offseason for as much as 2 firsts if things go well). In addition, this removes redunancy in the roster, allows Okungwu to finally start, and helps them maintain a little competitiveness as their pick goes to the Spurs anyways.
