Suns: A- I really like this deal for the Suns. The fact of the matter is so long as Beal is under contract, Phoenix will not be contenders, so setting yourself up for when he hits free agency is in my opinion the correct move. Green is young and can hopefully thrive in a new system. Brooks is a great role player who can help in the short term while his contract is up at the same time as Beal, and getting a top ten pick for a 37 year old on an expiring contract is not half bad

Rockets: A- The only thing holding this back from being an A for me is that I wish the Rockets had found some way to hold on to Dillion Brooks, but the fact that they managed this deal with Jalen Green being the only young asset they gave up is commendable. Not to mention, KD fills the biggest gaps for the rockets (half court offense, 3 point shooting, crunch time execution), while not taking away from their defense.
