Bradley Beal to the Bucks, Suns get out of the second apron

SUCCESS

Why the Bucks do it:

They have used their cap space after waiving Dame to acquire talent, but they will now hit a bit of a wall in that they don't have many assets to make this team better. Bradley Beal is the best player out there you can acquire with no assets. In this deal they also get a quality role player and two seconds for getting off the Kuzma money and trading away Bobby Portis Jr. Obviously they would like to keep Portis Jr., however Royce O'Neale will take over those minutes and may even be a better fit at the 3.

Why the Suns do it:

The Suns have their opportunity to get off Beal they can get off other non-starters to get under the second apron as they have been trying to do. They get a starting PF in Bobby Portis Jr. and a potential starting PG in Marcus Smart depending on fitness. A trade with this framework solves almost all of their current problems.

Why the Lakers do it:

They get a useful center on a team friendly contract for a first that they hope will not have a ton of value if they keep hold of Luka Doncic. Helps them in their quest for another ring with Lebron.

Why the Wizards do it:

They get a first for taking on another year of a bad contract. They will not be ready to contend at the end of this season so it makes sense to continue to acquire assets.

Why Bradley Beal does it:

This is the sticking point of the deal, I'm not sure Bradley Beal takes it. There is an appeal to playing with one of the best players in the league and attempting to challenge in a weak Eastern Conference, but is that enough for him to give up his NTC? He may want to keep playing hardball with the Suns in the hope he will get bought out in a similar fashion to Dame himself meaning he can sign where he wants and earn his salary.

If anyone has any suggestions on altering the trade please feel free to comment. I toyed with Marcus Smart going to the Bucks instead of the Suns, and also was going back and forth over what picks go where.
