This trade sees the Bulls regroup slightly and write-off the rest of this season while still having sights set on remaining competitive next year. They bring in a younger wing who would fit nicely with Lavine, Ball, and Vucevic, and hope that his surgery and recovery are successful. With Lonzo hopefully coming back, they could roll out a lineup of Lonzo-Lavine-Hunter-Williams-Vucevic next year, with some strong players off the bench in Caruso, White, and Drummond. They also pick up an interesting prospect in AJ Griffin, a second-rounder in a year they have no picks, and a late first this year to go alongside their most likely high pick to potentially move up in the draft or trade for a future pick. For the Hawks, they roll out a strong lineup of Trae-Dejounte-Demar-Johnson-Capela, with Bogdanovic, Bey, and Okongwu off the bench. They do this while giving up Hunter who will be out for most of this season, Griffin who gets no minutes, Mills as salary filler, and a late first and late second. Who wins this trade?
