Suns: They buy at the deadline, take advantage of the hits they've made on minimum contracts this year and still manage to stay under the tax after converting Jamaree Bouyea to a standard contract (needs to be done before the deal goes ahead).

Jazz: Get an overpay for Lauri and bet on the upside of Jalen Green. 2 firsts and a swap + Green is a great offer for Lauri, they can sit Green whilst he's injured to aid their tanking and ensure they finish in the bottom 4 in the rankings so they can get a top 4 chance at the number 1 pick in the draft. They take advantage of the Lakers/Suns' attempts to compete and bank on them picks being good in 2031 and 2032. They would have to waive someone to complete this deal though there are plenty options.

Lakers: They convert Kleber's salary into a productive role player who can defend and space the floor. Much more reliable than a Jake LaRavia and gives another guy alongside Marcus Smart to be their final non-center starter who can defend (obviously not as good of a defender as Smart). They will need to sign a guy to a minimum contract before this deal to meet the player requirement but they can do so under the first apron.

Warriors: They get Giannis. Try to become a contender whilst they still have Steph, they owe it to him. They get a little frontcourt depth in Nick Richards too. Sadly they have to give up Draymond but there is always the option of him turning down his player option in the summer and coming back on a cheaper contract in the offseason (depends how he wants to end his career).

Bucks: Trading Giannis before the deadline allows them to fully commit to tanking and they give themselves a better chance of moving up in the upcoming draft if they do that now, which has a lot of value given the prospective top 3. Don't want to have to wait until the offseason where Giannis will only have 1 year left and will have slightly more leverage on where he gets traded to. They get Kuminga and Podz to try to develop, and will likely flip Moody in the offseason. The picks are the main incentive for them to do this deal. The Warriors could be really bad in 2031 and 2032 when Giannis enters the latter half of his 30s and Steph and Jimmy are retired. They would have to waive someone to get this deal done although there are a few clear candidates.
