Rockets finally get what they need once and for all. Which isn’t KD. It’s a high scoring point guard to run an offense and put some points on the board while he’s surrounded by defense. Rockets are giving a first and second here because KDs value is going to be in the dumpster this summer. But they either need to get him out of there or trade the entire young core he ragged on.

Nuggets flame out again and decide it’s time to move on from Jamal. Bringing in a younger true PG in Giddey and also bringing in Kawhi to make up for some defense.

Clippers do clippers things. KD brings fans and ticket sales. But they get 2 picks in the upcoming draft. Denver’s 2032 is actually a 2026 second round pick after the Hunter Tyson trade. With their newly acquired young guards in Garland and Mathurin, KDs mentorship would do a lot more for them than Kawhi just staring at them. I also don’t see Kawhi just letting himself rot on a rebuilding team for the rest of his career. Getting traded to Denver would put him right back on a contender.

Bulls get a young rising star and two first round picks for Giddey who wasn’t looking too great at the end of the season. We’ll see how Chicago deals with their log jam at the guard position and if they resign any of the guys they currently have. But if they do, getting Watson and 2 first round picks for Giddey would be insane value.
