Heat receive: Jordan Clarkson
Jazz receive: Duncan Robinson, 2023 MIA frp unprotected
Looking at the Heat, they badly need another shot creator, if they can't get it i rlly don't think they can even reach the 2nd round of the playoffs. JB is carrying too hard, Heat have to find more help beside him. They got Max Strus on the squad who's a great shooter alrdy, meaning that Duncan Robinson is definitely movable, plus moving this 4 year contract away will give them cap flexibility, so they have to give their frp this year away.
For the Jazz, basically if they got frps in return for their players, they have to take it. Clarkson is soon 30, and he don't fit this team's timeline alrdy, the backcourt should be handed to Sexton, so a frp in return will be what they prefer
Pels receive: Bojan Bodganovic
Jazz receive: Devonte Graham, Garrett Temple, 2024 Pels frp top 10 protected
The Pels can definitely use more shooting beside Zion. Here they clear out their 2 bad contracts with Graham and Temple, plus a frp, to get Bojan, who's on a 1 year deal and if he extends, he should also be in a pretty team friendly deal, maybe around 5-9M extension, which is 10M saved
Jazz can give Graham some 6th man mins and let him hv another run, see if he can play like his Hornets days again
Spurs receive: Russell Westbrook, 2027 LAL frp unprotected
Lakers receive: Mike Conley, Doug McDermott
Jazz receive: Josh Richardson, 2024 MEM/WAS srp, 2025 CHI srp
I think Spurs will be the best destination for Westbrook. There's none other support in that team, everyone of them are young guys, Westbrook will be the leader of this team, and he might have another run to show how good he is. Spurs are lacking PG, so why not let Westbrook play here for 1 season! They're getting the 2027 frp here, which is very valuable cus Bron shouldn't be here alrdy, no one knows will AD still be a Laker, and there's no promising young guy in the Lakers roster now. That can be a very high frp in 2027, and it will be a steal for the Spurs
Lakers need another PG if they traded away Westbrook, I think Conley can be the guy, he can shoot well, sth that is lacking in this Lakers team with Beverly Bron AD. Also he can playmake a bit, not ball dominant, can be the primary ball handler, and also the secondary ball handler after Bron. It will be a good fit i believe. Doug will also give them high % shooting in the frontcourt, sth that the Lakers are heavily lacking
Jazz will get J Richardson here, expect him being traded again in trade deadline, maybe for 2 srps (refering to the Evan Fournier to the Celtics trade). They got their PGs alrdy with Sexton, Jared Butler, and Graham, there's no point to keep Conley here alrdy. 2 srps and potentially 2 more from J Rich should be preferred
How the Jazz looks after these moves:
Rotational chart:
PG: Collin Sexton
SG: Malik Beasley (Don't think he needs to be traded, i believe that he will be a good fit besides Sexton)
SF: Lauri Markannen
PF: Jarred Vanderbilt (I personally like this frontcourt so much! They just fill out each other's weakness, Vando fill out some on-ball D, Lauri fill out shot blocking and spacing, I like it!!!)
C: Walker Kessler (I think if the Jazz use him right he can be a mini-Gobert)
6: Agbaji
7: THT
8: Jared Butler
9: Josh Richardson
10: Udoka Azubuike
11: Duncan Robinson
12: Devonte Graham
13: NAW
14: Stanley Johnson
15: Bolmaro
Expectation: 13th seed (I don't think this is too bad of a team, their starting lineup still consist of great defenders, great scorer, 3&D player, shot blocker, and stretch big. I like how the roles are allocated in this team. Bench isn't terrible as well, i think Agbaji will have a big rookie season, and other young guys will hv more chance to prove themselves)
