Trey Murphy III has a big extension kicking in, the Pels are looking to mini tank to keep their 1st this year, and get under the tax this year & possibly next. CJ is playing relatively well, but is under contract for $30mil plus next year at age 34. Pels take Rui (to supply minutes at the 4 when Zion is hurt), the expiring Melton contract, and Knecht (in lieu of a future 1st). Get young SF / PF under contract for $20 million next year, duck tax this year, and can duck next year even with the Murphy extension depending on what they do with B Ingram.

Nets turn the expiring Melton contract from the Schroeder trade and Sharpe (expiring) for a look at JHS, Woods expiring, and Gabe Vincent. 2 2nds for the $1.1 increase in salary this year & Vincents salary next year.

Lakers turn 2 2nds, Knecht, Rui, Gabe Vincent, and the Woods contract into Sharpe (along with matching rights), expiring Robinson-Earle, and 2 expensive years of CJ. Try for a championship run for the next 2 years with a LeBron-Davis-McCollum-Reeves core, with Sharpe or Vando filling out the starting 5 depending on the matchup. Also clear a roster spot for any potential buy-out guys.
