The warriors really need an actual NBA rotation and this trade lands them a bunch of guys they can plug into that Rotation all of whom are on expiring contracts and they still have their young guys + pool to use in an actual trade for a real impact player.

The hornets are already in a pretty deep hole in a really competitive eastern conference and might as well start gunning for Vic if you ask me. This trade nets them a pick this year to help do that plus you’re moving a bunch of expiring deals you’re likely to lose anyway. Draymond might be convinced to decline his PO playing in Charlotte so you can possibly free up the money this year or you can package him along with another one of your big contracts in a Westbrook deal getting the money off the books regardless.
