Nets trade Cam Johnson. In return, they get Rui (to start in his place / lower salary & one less year), Wood, Lewis (to develop), Lakers 2nd in '27 and a Lakers swap in 2029 - Lakers get the lowest of the BK / NYK / LAL pick(s) that year. It's not a full first, but they get 2 future 2nds (one in a year they dont have one) / reduce salary / get a bit worse short-term in 25 / a developmental Lewis
DET trades Isaiah Stewart (and his injury risk / 15 for 4yrs contract), as they have Duren and Reed at the C position, and Moore (outside the rotation). In return, they get to develop JHS, take Reddish's minimum deal, and get Lakers '31 2nd. They take on D'Lo for 1 year (at 18), reducing long term salary to both back up Cade / being injury insurance for him, plus it gives them a chance to see what Cade could look like playing next to a NBA PG. He'd also help address some spacing issues. Between D'Lo, TH Jr., and Cam, they'd now have 37 million in expirings, while not paying Stewart / More 17+ next year.
Lakers give up some future draft capital (3 2nds and a swap) alongside both their draft picks / 2 starters from last year. In return, they get Cam Johnson (a JJ fave), Stewart to play alongside Davis and/or backup C, and they get to see if Moore can play NBA minutes while also reducing enough salary this year to use the $5.2 exemption if someone comes along (and/or stay under the apron if someone's available in a S&T for more than the Lakers send out without triggering a hard cap).
