Lakers make big moves, try to make themselves competitive in a deep Western Conference. I think there are potentially more moves to be made. Could they get themselves in the Tyus world? I have no idea how much the Lakers have to spend after these trades, I don't totally understand how the second-apron works, but I think two minumum/close to minimum moves like this makes sense for them.

Lakers

This should make the starting lineup much better, and it gives the Lakers a pretty solid top 6. It also gives Lebron a real knockdown three-point shooter, and another secondary ball handler in Sexton when he is off the floor. The biggest question mark left for this group, who is taking the 7-10 spots? I would pencil in Knecht to one of them, but the rest is a grab bag of potentials. Is Trent anything more than a good three-point shooter? Is RoCo completely washed? Can either of the Christie or Schifino become real rotation guys? I dread seeing Cam Reddish play basketball on this team again, so let's hope so. I also think a similar move for Cam Johnson could be done for Kuz instead, but I wonder if he will take more than just 1 first rounder.

Starters: Reaves, Sexton/Cam/Rui (two of the three spots, depends if they wanna go big or not), Lebron, AD

Bench: One of Sexton/Cam/Rui, Gary Trent, RoCo, Knecht, Christie, Schifino

Nets and Jazz

Lumping these two together because their justification makes sense in my book. Trade away valuable assets that might win them too many games, bet against the Lakers 5-7 years from now when Lebron will be 47. Maybe the protection on the pick to the Jazz gets shifted a bit, I think Sextion is less valuable than Cam, but he is technically 3 years younger, and maybe just better. The salary these two take on shouldn't win them many games either. The players can be shuffled in both cases a bit.
