There will come a time in the not-so-distant future that Ant realizes that he doesn’t fit in up in Minnesota and will request a trade just like Jimmy, KG, and K-Love did because let’s face it, Minnesota fucking sucks. After a Ben Simmons-style circus where he said he only wants to get traded to his hometown team and his hometown team only (and in the process going full Jimmy and beating the rest off of Twolves starters by himself in the he only preseason practice he attends), he gets his wish and gets traded to the Hawks for what could be regarded as a really good return for Minnesota if you ask me. As for the Timberwolves themselves, they’re back to a familiar place at the dregs of nba society and likely trade Gobert to the spurs for a couple second rounders to cement themselves in the basement until they get lucky in a few years with yet another undeserved #1 pick. But hey, at least Ant is home and gets to team up with Jalen Johnson so all is good in his world!!!
