- This trade is all-in move by the Raptors. Allowing them to contend for the next 3-4 years. However, this all relies on Giannis having Toronto as one of his preferred destinations.

For the Bucks this trade signifies a rebuild. The Bucks receive a package of promising young talent/picks to build the future around. Not to mention including multiple starters with two having all-star potential. Giving the Bucks two options. Do you build around RJ and Ingram or commit to the rebuild and send them off along with Poeltl in future trades for more picks/prospects.

For Dallas you get a young player for their rebuild, and 3 picks (2 second rounders and a first)

Notes: I don't think the Raptors would do this trade. Not only that on I think there are four main reasons Raptors wouldn't get Giannis. Not to mention it would mean hoeing Ingram.

One: There are other teams that are Giannis's actual preferred destination over Toronto. Two: Other teams would have better trade packages then what the Raptors can offer (OKC, Spurs etc.) Three: Me not really knowing the value of Portis, Turner and Gafford. Four: Gambling on both Lawson and Martin being able to contribute on the bench.

The only trade here that might happen is the Dallas trade for a backup center. Obviously with small tweaks incase the money/value doesn't work.
