Hypotetical situation:

• Klay decides he wants to leave GSW (I don't think he should)

• Warriors/Draymond decide to part ways as well (Warriors definitely shouldn't want to, he is very good)

• Donovan Mitchell asks out of Cleveland. They trade him somewhere and decide to go young with Garland and Mobley again and are open to trading Jarrett Allen

Mindset of each org after these events transpire:

• Warriors still want to compete, need a replacement for Klay as well as a scorer-type since Wiggins declined. Beal fits the bill even though he has a bad contract. The contract isn't that big of an issue because CP's deal covers half of it and Draymond wanted to leave anyway

• Memphis wants to get back to the top. 7th pick this year probably won't help them much in that regard, so they look to trade it. Jarrett Allen combined with Jaren Jackson and Marcus Smart would make them a top 3 defense unquestionably. Great fit all around.

• Cleveland is trying to find young players to complement Garland and Mobley. 7th pick this year isn't great but they still could really like somebody there. Nurkic is an OK fit there if they still want a decent center when Mobley is out/playing the 4.

• Phoenix needs a super-connector on both ends. Draymond is the ideal player for them, so they target him. Only problem is they need to get rid of Nurkic.

I think Phoenix, Memphis, Cleveland and Draymond are very happy in this situation. GSW probably isn't and should be able to get more for Draymond, but I think Beal is actually a great fit there if Klay leaves and they don't get a true scorer-type, which they have had in all their championship runs. They definitely don't have a Draymond replacement and that would transform their team completely, but I don't think anybody can replace Draymond so if he asks to leave, this package might not be as bad as it looks.
