KD back to OKC with this young group would be super fun to watch. For a two-year contract as well, there’s not too much risk for the Thunder long term either. They’re trading some firsts, but with how they’re playing, these will translate to late first-rounders anyway - especially with KD in tow.

Three first-rounders (even if two look locked in as late firsts from OKC), and a second-rounder - along with the chance to play out Lavine’s contract with Booker and Beal for the Suns. Worst case, Phoenix could shop Lavine in a year or two when his contract is almost up. Best case, he molds well and helps drive a run with Booker and Beal while they basically got their KD picks back.

Bulls might have the most interesting situation here. They finally get to dump Lavine’s contract as part of a sign-and-trade for Hayward. Additionally they add Kenrich Williams at just 6.6 mill per year for 3-years - both of which (Hayward or Williams) would be usable contracts in future trades. Ultimately, they’re freeing up 22 million per year the next three years and giving themselves two tradable contracts at the cost of a future first-rounder a long time from now.
