Celtics - Slashing payroll while trying to remain good. J-Dub is J-Dub. I probably like Sochan more than any non-Spurs fan. Waffling on whether to give them Aaron Wiggins too, and cut out Detroit. Wiggins, but then they would be in tax, they may just want to go ahead reset that if we're going this deep. Keeping Porzingis becomes the objective after this trade since his expiring plus Barnes will help pay for J-Dub and Sochan extensions.
Spurs - Get Jaylen Brown
Thunder - Get a cost-controlled Derrick White in the door while dodging a massive pay increase for Jalen Williams. Tough move to make, but White is a very good player who doesn't need to ball to make a mark and fits like a glove into just about any team. This will help keep things under control financially down the road. Joe (likely gone anyway) and Kenny Hustle get unloaded to balance salary.
Nets - Receptacle for Keldon Johnson's $17M. Goes into a trade exception so cap space doesn't even come into play.
Pistons - Use MLEs and other exceptions to load up on some depth for no player cost. Joe is younger, cheaper, and better than THJ so they can just renounce him. Kenny Hustle is just a solid front line guy.
I got an ear infection trying to big-brain the picks on this and who should receive and who should have to give and how much and who's gonna be shitty enough for their second rounder to be attractive etc, so fuck it I'm just not including them. Figure it out yourselves.
