2 tradable picks (3 if you count pod), that’s more than the lakers can trade and probably just as much as the 76ers want to trade for Zach plus you get Demar’s expiring contract which regardless of the name’s available in free agency if you get that financial freedom now and long term if you use it right. Another good aspect of this trade is those warriors picks, I think Zach can fix a lot of the problems golden state has this season but I don’t know if he expands the championship window into the future so those picks (especially the 2028 pick) could prove valuable as teams like the Spurs and the Grizzlies improve in the future. Warriors do this trade because Steph is still a top 10 player in the game and that means if you get the right pieces around him your championship hopes remain alive you don’t need to worry about 5 years from now. Zach provides the second option the Warriors lack and consistent scoring when Steph leaves the game. In golden state Zach will have playmaking, defense and spacing that he didn’t have in Chicago after Lonzo’s injury so I’d imagine a return to form in his new team.
