BKN: Moving off Simmons opens up the door for KD trade options, which is their real prize. This is a franchise that wants to make a 180 on their culture and Simmons is not the right guy for that situation. By moving off him they are rookie Jaden Hardy, 3rd year Josh Green, NAW, a FRP, 2nds & the contract of Bertrand. There won’t be many suitors out there for Simmons.

DAL: keep their core intact and add a playmaker to allow Luka rest and feed their many spot up shooters. Also is young, a great defender & has size. Extreme lineup versatility with this roster. Only guy he won’t really be able to play with is McGee, but even then the drive & lob option would be interesting if surrounded by shooting.
