  • They instantly form a contender around Lauri, which appears to be their main goal. A big 3 of Lauri, BI, and George would be a fun offense to watch. Also add in Thybulle and Kessler providing defensive support, and a bench with 3 6MOTY candidates.

  • Why the Lakers do this:

  • In addition to getting Grant, they also get Simons, and they also replenish their bench with a bunch of good minimum guys.

  • Why the Pelicans do this:

  • They fix their issues while getting draft capital for BI as well.

  • Why the Raptors do this:

  • They get younger in their frontcourt.
