San Antonio needs a starting PG to pair with Wemby so they trade Johnson and 2 SRP for Anfernee Simons. The Blazers have way too many guards and adding a young forward to the pairing of Henderson and Sharpe actually helps them. Sharpe and Henderson grow with Johnson to make Portland's young core more scarier. As for the Spurs, they get a guard who can still develop his passing game to be a viable asset to Victor Wembanyama and has all star potential.
