The Hawks' primary concern the whole season is defense, and DFS can help them solve of their defensive woes and can provide someone that they currently don't have in their roster, an elite 3-and-D wing player. He is also a perfect fit alongside Jalen Johnson. Moses Moody on the other hand can cover Trae's defensive issues with his defense and his 7-foot wingspan, which allows him to guard 1 to 3 position. He is also a good 3-point shooter and finisher, and he fits the Hawks' timeline as he is a lot younger than Dejounte Murray.
