These are the reasons why I believe each team would benefit from this trade:

Pacers: Whether you win the NBA Finals or come up short, it is entirely possible that they should make this move in the offseason, getting Trey Murphy III. Benedict Mathurin will want to get his money in the following season since he believes he's worth a lot, plus his issues with Carlisle can shown at times as he takes him out some games especially these playoffs. Trey Murphy III with Tyrese, Siakam, Nembhard, Nesmith and Turner can elevate them going back to the NBA Finals the following season.

Detroit: Other than re-signing Malik Beasley which they should do this offseason, I believe they should get Herb Jones to fit in this dynamic. A lineup with Cade, Ivey, Ausar, Herb and Duren would be scary this upcoming season and the future of the Eastern Conference. This acquisition would improve both offensively and defensively as well as giving them a chance to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals the following season.

Pelicans: I believe no one is safe on the roster except for Zion so I think they will change the roster around Zion, adding a young piece like Mathurin, glue guys like Tobias Harris and Obi Toppin with 4 first round picks, and also having the 7th overall pick could be a start of making the best possible team around Zion Williamson.

On a side note, I'm gonna say this...Pelicans BETTER NOT trade Trey Murphy III to Detroit, because if they do...I believe Detroit will be A LOCK in the Eastern Conference Finals the upcoming season, with them fully healthy and adding Trey Murphy III and possibly going to the Finals in 2 or 3 years with that young core. That's all I gotta say.
