Lakers Projected lineup: Reaves / Christie / Lebron / AD / Williams

By acquiring Robert Williams, the lakers finally add a center that can play alongside AD for the first time since their 2020 title run with Javale McGee and Dwight Howard. Williams is an excellent defender and lob threat, he has faced some injury concern over the year but when healthy is one of the best rim protecters in the game and would be a seamless fit for the lakers frontcourt alongside Bron and AD.

Blazers projected lineup: Simons / Sharpe / Avdija / Grant / Ayton

The blazers receive both Gabe Vincent and Jaxson Hayes in this deal, neither figures to play a whole lot in this rotation due to positional needs and timeline of roster however, they can serve as good veterans and potential backups of needed. Blazers do this trade to cut down on the logjam they have at center with Ayton, Williams and Clingan. They also receive 2 future seconds from the Lakers.
