Charlotte, who are rebuilding their team after trading LaMelo, have decided to step away from their contract with Dorian. By doing so, they get a younger player and a valuable draft pick. Minnesota seems like a better fit right now. Finney Smith is a solid defensive forward who can guard different positions, stretch the floor, and play well next to Anthony Edwards and Minnesota's big men.
