There’s a lot to unpack and see here so let’s get right into it
OKC does this to get value from Wallace because it unknown how much money he’ll want next offseason and how much more his value will go up so instead of risking him walking for nothing they recoup a large amount of his value and shed salary
LA does this to shake up the roster a bit Knecht has been getting dnp for us a lot and Salaun has been borderline bad for Charlotte a change of scenery makes sense for both parties
Charlotte does this to improve their shooting defense and fit of the roster and I think these moves improve them quite a bit
A potential lineup could be Lamelo Kon Miller Bridges Turner with Coby White potentially as well as solid depth pieces like Moussa and who they draft at 14 plus Knecht for more shooting
Milwaukee does this to get Giannis help whilst also keeping cap space open and they don’t lose many major assets at least long term ones anyway
In this scenario they’d draft either Labaron Philon Brayden Burries or Mikel Brown Jr but ideally it ends up being Philon
A hypothetical lineup for them would be Labaron or KPJ Rollins Lauri Giannis Bobby with some bench piece being the other guard AJ Green Ryan Kalkbrenner and some others
Finally the centerpiece of the trade Utah they will be very good next season already but they improve their depth and versatility so much with this trade and get short contacts so they can resign Keyonte and Cason next offseason
A potential lineup would be Keyonte Darren Peterson?? (Ideally they’d land AJ but not likely) Ace JJJ Kessler
With an elite bench of guys like Collier Wallace Green Kuzma Filpowski I mean this would be a team with infinite potential and ceiling
Lemme know you’re thoughts and who says no and why
