Hawks send both the guards away

SUCCESS

Note: I highly doubt ATL sends both Murray and Trae away. They would essentially be committing to full on rebuild at that point

MN:

Minnesota gets their guard of the future, and a cheaper, young big to replace KAT, or Naz who would likely start in this scenario. It also frees up cap space, and gives them a second on ball creator they desperately need. They likely hold the title of best defense in the league again with this trade, while improving their matchups against teams like Dallas. Keeps them a contender while shuffling the deck.

ATL:

In no way do I see ATL going in this direction, but it's possible. They gain their picks back sent away in the Murray trade, plus two more (This is probably a big overpay, but Bridges set the market high). KAT is a weird but maybe perfect piece for a rebuild. He is not good enough to win them too many games, but could also stand as a valuable asset in a trade down the road, especially when he becomes a massive expiring. No one they would take in the draft would conflict with him too much either. ATL can take #1 and #8 in this draft in any direction they want, and KAT shouldn't interfere with that too much. They also hold onto Jaylen Johnson, their best young player.

SA:

The Spurs go for it, without giving up too much of their own draft capital. Basically sending back what they got in the Murray trade, plus a bit more. Again, probably an overpay, but Trae is a better player than Murray, and the Spurs feel like the perfect situation for a terrible defensive guard like Trae. This allows SA to be legitimately good right away, before Wemby gets his max contract.
