Why each team does it :

Lakers : Lakers do this deal because they have been struggling so far this year apart from LeBron who does his thing on most nights . Defensively they have been struggling so the addition of Caruso will help on the perimeter defensive side of things . The addition of Lavine gives the lakers another scoring option who can put up big numbers if called upon and can score from all areas of the court . Post , Mid and deep range which could take off defensive pressure from lebron and AD allowing them to score more .

Chicago : The bulls blow up there roster and trade away the unhappy camper in lavine and rid of derozan who is on an expiring contract which will allow the bulls to invest into there youth and focus on developing there younger players . By getting Jerami Grant and DLo they still get 2 good players in return for demar and lavine but still not enough that they will be in playoff contention and low enough for a high lottery pick . The addition of thybulle and morris sr adds some defenders there lineup .

Trailblazers : This trade for the blazers is to give there young star players more possessions and minutes. Sharpe , Simons and Ayton get more of the ball and gives them the ability to score more and the blazers get rid of the big contract of grant for a handful of role players with Huchimara and Batum providing shooting off the bench and defence from Covington giving the blazers a lot of depth without having to give up a whole lot of assets .

76ers: The 76ers should do this deal because Joel Embiid has been struggling and In n out of the lineup so far with injuries and Tyrese maxey can’t win games on his own so by getting Derozan he is a all star calibre player who doesn’t always need lots of touches and is happy to play his role . He can score easily and with maxey in 3pt range Derozan in the mid range and Embiid in the paint the Sixers would be able to really stretch defences with these 3 catapulting them into contention for a chip . Brogdon gives the Sixers depth at the guard position off the bench but also can play PG or SG if tyrese is injured or alongside tyrese in the starting lineup or off the bench . Brogdon is a very flexible role adjustable player .
