With the Celtics above the 2nd apron, Porzingis has been thrown around as a trade canditate so that the Celtics go below the apron next year. So, they send him out, along with a unprotected 1st round pick, to the Clippers for Ivica Zubac and Bogdan Bogdanovic. The main piece here is Zubac, who's having a career year with the Clippers, averaging 16.4 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks on 62% shooting from the field. They also get Bogdanovic, who's gonna add some shooting off their bench. The Clippers get a veteran in Porzingis, who's got championship experience, obviously won the title despite not playing much in the playoffs. He's a way better shooter and better offensive player than Zubac but on defense, he's a bit shaky, despite being a decent rim protector, averaging 1.6 blocks per game. There is questions about his health, as he's only played 38 games for the Celtics this year, but when he's healthy, he balls out. The Clippers also get a Boston unprotected 1st round pick, and who knows, it might be good in the future
