I'm pretty sure that Bulls fan gonna be very unwilling about this trade and maybe that they are right and they can have much better assets for Zach, but as a French fan I hope that San Antonio will not waste their time and try to play for something other that the lottery immediately.
Firstly because with all the high-potential young players they have in their roaster where you gonna add an alien like Victor next year, you will have a hell of a young core which can do great things in the following years like the Thunder for example, but if you stay like this with what the level of the West is right now, I believe that your first 2 or 3 years gonna be without at least a play-in game and it's a shame...
Especially since Pop will not stay infinitely on the bench and even if I believe that Wemby will make him stay at least 2 more years, the end of this beautiful story is close and I hope for him and all the Spurs fan that he will not pass his last years with a team which playing for the 13th or the 14th place, he definetely deserve more than that and I'm pretty sure that everyone will agree with me on this point.
So, the adding of someone like Zach LaVine who is an All-Star caliber player in this team full of young talent to help them play for something immediately is in my opinion a very good move to do but like I said at the beginning, I'm not sure if this package is enough for Chicago even if they're four firsts and a high potential player in the person of Malaki Branham in it.
I would be pleased to see what y'all think about this in the comments.
