The apron made this trade design a lot less pretty then I wanted it to be... But It still makes sense to me.
THE HAWKS - get off Young and Porzingis (They have said they are shopping him) and bring in a batch of helpful faces to contend around Johnson.
Middleton is a solid vet who's luckily expiring.
Claxton is a athletic solid big who I think would be a better fit with this Hawks team
Cam Thomas is flamethrower combo guard, who could fill the loss in scoring especially off the bench if needed
Highsmith is a needed 3-D guy for the post season
THE WIZARDS - Oh boy, why do I love this combo so much. Young a guy who always looks to pass, paired with a guy who loves to receive a pass and put up a shot.
Young could give the Wizards direction and actually start to build a system in Was. Trae hopefully opens up Sarr more as a player
Wizards buy in on the MPJ year and pair him with Trae as a #1 and #2
THE NETS - It is an ugly package, but there are some good picks in there. This is the part of the trade I am most lost on what is the right value coming back for them.
They get big expirings and some young fodder too.
