Charlotte has an elite core of Kon, Ball, and Miller to build off of. All they’re missing is a true starting caliber center. Jokic would put them over the top and they’d easily be a top 3 seed in the east, if not #1. The hornets are projected to be 70+ million under the second apron next offseason and have all the flexibility in the world to work with in order to build around those 4.

They could throw a bag at any free agent PF or even try to steal Watson from Denver and they’d have one of the best starting 5’s in the whole league. While still having a ton of cap space to build an elite bench around Coby White. If the hornets really want to end the rebuild phase then now’s the time and this would be the move to make.
