In my mock I have a similar move. But had hornets straight up giving up their 14 pick which some said was too much. So now it’s their 18th they give up to the bulls who get off a bad contract.

This is apart of my mock draft trades where I have them trading for the 2nd pick to draft Paterson! But they be giving up next year pick. So getting derozan who can get buckets off then bench or what ever role u put him in is pretty good for them and moving down from 15 to 18 not that bad as 1 of the couple big men that your looking at should still be there!

Hornets get great role players while keeping their lottery pick in a year they might be looking to contend!

Kings would be building their future around Acuff and Kingston which is huge for them. I think this would be the brightest future they had for a minute now. I love this for them and they be a much better place then they been in a while.
