This trade will surely be a win-win. Trae Young is a superb point guard. Having Trae Young means having a second (third next year) scoring option. He's an elite playmaker, capable of averaging over 10 assists per game in a season. Trae Young alongside Jaylen Brown and, next year, Jayson Tatum, is a great balance. For the Hawks, losing Trae Young isn't so bad; I mean, Jaylen Johnson, as we've seen recently, is capable of being a franchise player. Anfernee Simmons could be a good asset for a trade at the deadline. But having Derrick White, a perfect 3-and-D player who knows the way to a championship, is a HUGE plus. Just imagine the Daniels/White duo on defense—it's terrifying.
