Rationale:
WARRIORS: Moody had to be moved to make the financials work and they move him to the raptors, in return they get Ochai and picks. Ochai is a good piece esp. adding defense and athleticism for half the price.
The big piece is receiving Sabonis in a s&t for Kuminga. Out of the teams that are interested in Kuminga, the Kings have the most win-now and valuable piece in Sabonis, the other teams, such as the HEAT and WIZARDS, don't have a piece as valuable. Sabonis would be a great fit alongside curry and butler, bringing size, spacing, and high-level playmaking from the 5 position.
Hield would have to be traded to make the money work as well. To replace Hield, even though its not present in this trade due to fanspo not updating free agents, I would sign Johnny Juzang to the minimum (aprox. 2.4m), who is around a 38% 3pt shooter at 6'7 with defensive upside (I know he has a bad def. rating, but the JAZZ a whole were the worst defense last year).
Additionally, I think the Warriors would have to make adjustments to the trades and add future picks to get it done with the kings.
KINGS: They are reported to be really be interested in Kuminga for their future plans, but the Warriors have all the leverage here, and have other options at hand (e.g. HEAT and WIZARDS). The reason I can see the kings doing this, as their have been light reports about Sabonis questioning the direction of the Kings, and would be likely to request a trade if he is not happy about the direction, so why not use him as the piece that gets you Kuminga who you value highly and start the retool from there.
If this trade were not to go through, it would be from the KINGS' end. Additionally, from the top of my head, the Warriors probably have the most intriguing package for Sabonis if you were to field offers. Other contending teams that could be interested would be the MAGIC, GRIZZLIES, Celtics, and maybe INDY. The Hornets, Nets & Bulls could be, but they are not a contender at the moment.
RAPTORS: They get a stronger depth piece for themselves to contend (as that is what I think their intention and direction is at the moment due to recent moves), on a nice contract for a longer period than OCHAI. I could see the Raptors rearranging the picks or changing them, but I think the Warriors would still go on with this no matter the types of picks they get, cause the main piece and value in this trade is Sabonis.
LMK what y'all think and who would say NO.
