You might think that the trade is unbalanced, but the reality is that the market for Morant might be at one of its lowest points. With the recent reports about the Grizzlies being open to trade him I wonder if a package centered around a young prospect like Risacher would do the work. Both picks in the trade are expected to fall around the 16 to 20 range so it wouldn't be that big of a loss for ATL.
ATL would still have NOLA's 2026 pick which they could use to go for the centre of their future (either by selection or trading the pick on draft night). Since I feel like Okongwu and Newell are more of a PF than a true C.
MEM gets a rental on KP that, if healthy, can be of use with all the injuries they sustained at the C position. They would also open a lot of felxibility in order to rework the team during the summer. Besides the picks, they would get another young player in Risacher who could develop into an interesting 3 and D.
Unfortunatley at this point Clarke is damaged goods (maybe I'm too harsh).
