Houston

Take a swing on a young player whose stock fell a bit. Houston have the depth to help Lauri play through some of his injury worries, and play a jumbo lineup with Amen at the 2, Lauri at the 3, Jabari 4 and Sengun in the middle.

I love Dillon and still think Jalen will be really good, but this also saves Houston a good chunk of money before deciding on what to do with FVVs contract and go into NEXT off-season to pay Jabari and Tari (or one of them - a lot can change in a year).

They move back in this draft to a bit of a sweet spot for Houston. Where guys like Sorber or Bryant could drop, or a guy like Fleming or Coward could be available.

I also think Houston are in that position where they could attract a vet for cheap like a Luke Kennard. Think about GTJ or Malik Beasley recently.

Jazz

Essentially a soft reset. They shed a TONN of salary next season, Collins, Rui, Martin all off the books.

The they end up with two top ten picks in this year's draft and young guys like Jalen and Kenecht to see how they fit.

Brooks probably won't last long but honestly, he's probably the perfect vet for a team like this who would have a jumbled identity at this point. If he brought in it would really help the team short term.

Lakers

Pretty simple. Get a good solid front court partner for Luka. Still have some contract they could move for a big man.

Let's be honest, the Lakers effect is real, so they'll probably find a way to pull something out their ass like Gabe, Maxi and a 1st for someone like Claxton. And the rest of the NBA fanbase will groan.
