Suns capitalize and get young, Spurs get veteran shooting

SUCCESS

Did you know Royce O'neale is shooting over 41% on 7 threes per game? 17th amongst shooters with 100 or more attempts. His contract is also super nice, with two more years left at 10.8M and 11.6M. He's been out of his role as a starter but has played well. The Suns let him ride off with championship aspirations.

In return the Suns take chances on Sochan and Bryant. Sochan will be a RFA, is out of the Spurs rotation, and might never be able to shoot from 3. Undersized backup big? Dunker spot 4? He's a gritty defender and the Suns are all about those these days. They take the chance. Carter Bryant is the real return, and the Spurs could be able to do this without him and give up a 1st instead, I think the Suns should push for the young forward. He's a work in progress too, almost like how Ryan Dunn was (and still is). Take the chance on the young player and line him up with all the other hard workers you have. Villian the 3rd?

Let me know what you think.
