Wolves Trade Deal

  • Wolves Sent Wendell Moore Jr, Josh Minott, Multiple Srp and 2024 Pick Swap Rights To The Bulls For Alex Caruso

Signings

  • Sign Mykhailiuk To A 2 Year/4.6m

Trade Explanation

(Wolves)

  • Due To The Wolves' Extremely Weak Depth In The Point Guard Spot, I Believe Pursuing A Player Like Caruso Is Ideal. Caruso Is Unquestionably One Of The League's Best Role Players, A Top-Tier Defender (He Was Named To The All-Defense First Team Last Season), A Certified Lock-down Defender Who Can Stifle Your Best Scorer, And Just Simply A Great Team Defender For The Bulls. He Is A Complementary Offensive Player, An Athletic Rim Finisher That Can Attack Closeouts And Can Also Shoot The Ball, Making 36% Of His Three-Point Attempts Last Season, Which Is About Average. He Is Not A "Great" Shooter By Any Means, But He Can Still Spread The Floor and You Simply Can't Leave Him Open. He Is A Decent Playmaker And Ball Handler As Well. I Am Aware That He Is Not A Particularly A "Great" Offensive Player, But He Can Fulfill The Role He Is Given On That End. A Strong Complement In That Regard. I Simply Think Caruso Fits In Well With the Team and Could Form A Strong Defensive Lineup With Ant, McDaniels, Anderson, and Gobert. Yes, Moore and Minott, The Two Former Rookies Included In This Deal, Are Nice Young Players. But I Sincerely Doubt They Will Get Much Of An Opportunity This Year or Possibly In The Future. They Might Just Remain Low-minute Third-string Players, In My Opinion. Therefore, Why Not Make A Move for Caruso, Who Has Proven to Be One of the League's Best Role Players and Can Improve This Team As A Whole?

(Bulls)

  • Bulls On This Deal Received 2 Young Upcoming Second Year Players With A Decent Ceiling. First Is Wendell Moore Jr, A Former Late First Round Pick In 2022. He Is A 6-5 Wing With A Massive 7' Wing Span. A Good All Around Versatile Player. He Has Shown To Be A Future Lock-Down Defender With His Excellent Frame. His Hustles Are Great And Can Give Energy On The Court. His Offensive Game Is Still Pretty Undeveloped But I Can See A Major Improvement Down The Road, I Am Sure He Can Be A Glue Guy On The Offensive End With His Complementary Shooting & Nice Playmaking Abilities. He Can Maybe Enhance His Shot Creation & Scoring Abilities In The Future As Well, Since Basically He Has The Potential To Be A Threat In All Three Levels. Moore Can Also Go On Isolation Sometimes. This Kid Has The Ceiling To Be An Amazing 2 Way Wing In The Future. Then, The Other Upcoming Second Year Player That Bulls Got Is Josh Minott, He Is a 6'8 Athletic Lengthy Wing That Has A Decent Upside If Given More Opportunities. He Has A Nice Outside Presence With His 3pt Shooting & Has Amazing Versatility In The Defensive End. I Am Sure He Can Be A Quality 3&D Player For The Bulls, But Who Knows? He Can Develop More And Be A Reliable 2-Way Player That Is Worthy Of A Starting Spot If He Upgrade His Offensive Skill Set Even More. The Bulls Also Manage To Get Some Draft Compensation On The Deal. So If We Summarize This, Bulls Got 2 Young Players(Both Has Nice Upside), 1 Pick Swap & Couple Of Seconds. Which For Me Will Be Caruso's Value... Again, The Bulls Got A Nice Return.
