The Pelicans desperately need better spacing. The majority of their rotation are bad/non 3pt shooters. This can’t fly. Lavine delivers them a massive upgrade opening up the floor for their starters. Lavine only has a 1 year deal, so if it doesn’t work out they can just let him walk and they’d still have room to resign Bey if they choose. At such cheap price for the pels it’s a why not move. It could help the development of Queen and Fears a ton as well.
