I changed the format for this because I saw someone else do it and I wanted to try it out too so shoutout to them, i forgot their name but they made the trade where OG and Zion goes to OKC.
New Orleans Pelicans
What NOP receives:
Lu Dort, Great Defensive Young SF for the future, also on a big contract
Josh Giddey, Really Young Star (or borderline star) with Talent who can be part of the centerpiece to build around
Ousmane Dieng, Young Project Player who might develop into something in the future
Four First Round Picks, Good Picks for the future and for possible trade assets
1 Swap Pick, Early Swap in 2025 and they have rights to swap
Additional Actions
Draft Kyle Filipowski (or Dereck Lively but personally I prefer Filipowski)
Explanation
There's no telling on how Zion's gonna be like for the future with all of his injury and health problems. If they don't wanna take the risk of him possibly failing due to injuries, trading them is an option. A package like this for Zion could be great for New Orleans. They get a young borderline star who they can build around alongside Ingram and others for the future. They get 2 young SFs, one who is already a good player and great defender, and one whos currently made as a project player who might develop into something. They also get good picks for their future, adding onto the massive amount of picks they already have. I think this deal is great for them. Also, Filipowski is a good pickup for them because he can replace Nance Jr. in the bench rotation since he's aging and he could maybe even take Valanciunas's spot in the future.
Ideal Starting 5
Giddey/CJ/Dort/Ingram/Valanciunas (Small Ball Lineup for development purposes)
Ideal Bench Rotation
Alvarado/Herb/Murphy III/Hayes/Filipowski
Ideal 3rd String
Lewis Jr./Daniels/Marshall/Nance Jr./Hernangomez
OKC Thunder
What OKC Receives:
Zion Williamson, Superstar PF to build around with Shai and others.
Swap Pick, Pelicanss have rights to swap
Additional Actions
Draft Jaden Hood-Schifino at 12th
Explanation
The Thunder have the assets to make a massive buying move in the offseason, and they're also currently in a position to make one. Getting Shai help is something that the team needs and a deal like this is perfect for them. If the Pelicans decide to trade away Zion, this could be a trade for them to make. Zion next to Chet seems perfect, he compliments well with Chet due to Chet being underweight compared to other big men in the league, and Chet complimenting with Zion since he can help with Zion's lack of defense. Zion also fits with OKCs playstyle a little bit since they usually try to drive in the paint to score. Lastly, Zions young so he can fit in the Thunder's timeline well. One problem about this though is that they trade Giddey whos their best playmaker so then their PG position is a bit messed up since Shai isn't as good of a playmaker as Giddey, also since Giddey is a pass-first guy. Some people think Giddey is a bad fit on OKC though so if that is true then it's fine. Also, JHS is a good rookie for them to draft since it also helps their PG depth a lot.
Ideal Starting 5
Shai/Joe/JDub/Zion/Chet
Ideal Bench Rotation
JHS/Wiggins/Kenrich/Poku/JWill
Ideal 3rd String
Mann/Butler/Waters III/JRE/Sarr
