The Celtics receive: Damian Lillard, Robert Covington, Jusuf Nurkic, Ben Simmons, some Free Agents. The Blazers receive: Ricky Rubio, Cedi Osman, Lauri Markkanen, Jarrett Allen, Bruno Fernando, Grant Williams, Aaron Nesmith, Payton Pritchard, many, many picks from the Celtics and Cavs. The Cavaliers receive: Al Horford, Enes Kanter, Marcus Smart, Josh Richardson, Carsen Edwards The 76ers receive: Bradley Beal, Jabari Parker, Kris Dunn The Wizards receive: Dennis Schroder, Seth Curry, Furkan Korkmaz, Robert Williams, Romeo Langford

Why the Celtics do it: Although the Celtics give up all their picks for several years, they get an MVP caliber player and a DPOY caliber player in Simmons and Lillard, while keeping Brown and Tatum. They also build around the role players in Nurkic, Covington, Stanley Johnson, JJ Reddick and Avery Bradley. They have 4 all star caliber players, more than any other NBA team, most of which are still young enough to continue improving. This makes them the best team in the league for many years to come. Enough said.

Why the Blazers do it: They get a variety of picks along with young players in Allen, Williams, Nesmith, Pritchard and Markkanen, exactly the return they need to get for Lillard. This would probably be accompanied by a separate McCollum trade.

Why the Cavaliers do it: The Cavs are probably the least likely to do this trade, but would probably be able to buy out Horford and flip Smart for picks or young guys. Carsen Edwards is another young guard they can develop and raise his trade value. Kanter and Richardson would also get flipped. Probably all to contending teams for bad contracts and picks.

Why the 76ers do it: They fix all their problems positionally with Beal. They have needed an outside scoring superstar for so long and Beal provides that. Dunn is added to help fill the defensive hole on the perimeter that Simmons left.

Why the Wizards do it: If they're trading Beal, an optimal return would definitely have players like Robert Williams in it. They probably get some picks from the Sixers as well in this deal. They can then flip their roleplayers and end up with a great young core around Kuzma, Hachimura, Avdija, Robert Williams, Romeo Langford, Furkan Korkmaz, etc. Although they lack a true star, they can get that in next year's draft as they're currently pretty terrible after this trade.
