Overview:

Austin Reaves is a star entering He's prime. If he weren't on a team with Luka and Lebron, he would average 25, 5, and 6. But he is too similar to Luka and could be better somewhere else. Here enters the Houston Rockets.

Lakers:

• While losing AR is a big deal, what the Lakers need are athletic defenders and shooters:

• Claxton is a very good rim-protector, rebounder, lob-threat, but cannot yet shoot.

• Eason is athletic, a very good defender, and can shoot OK.

• Keon is athletic, a terrific shooter, and a good defender.

Houston:

• If they want to contend the next 2 years, they need a good PG. AR is a great PG who can score, playmake, and stretch the floor. A clutch fringe all-star with one of the best contracts in the league.

• Tari is great, but AR is on a whole other level

Nets:

• They give Claxton up and get in turn:

• A good starter center, a potentially good young player, an expiring, and most importantly their 2027 pick back - if we are realistic, there is little chance this pick is not top 8 and probably top 5.

Kings:

• Keon Ellis is great, but he is not getting minutes for him to develop, and Vincent + 2 late FRP (20-23) is a very high value for him
