This Trade is just right for the Miami Heat to help make a push and maximize what’s left in their window.

How this Helps Miami: Donte would be a good Pairing with Herro in the Backcourt because he’s not as Ball-Dominant and a decent defender. The only issue is that it would force Herro to be the main PG, and I am not sure if he’s fully ready for that role yet. Poetl is a good rebounder and another decent defender, who can let Bam move to the 4. Because of Bam’s new ability to shoot, we know he can make this adjustment.

How this Helps the Wolves: The wolves made aware that Donte is on the Trade Block, and this would be a very good return for him. Jovic is a young piece who started a few games for the Heat, and he would be the backup 4 for Randle. It also sets him up to be part of their future once he regresses. Richardson is a cheap replacement for Donte if they need to play him. On top of that both of these players help save Minnesotas struggling cap room.

How this helps the Raptors: While the players the raptors get are not necessarily very good, the picks they get back for Poetl would be good to capitalize on his value before he hits 30. (Let me know if you think the Heat should give more for him)
