This seems like a pretty boring and small trade but i strongly believe this would have a large impact for the Nets short & long term.

Trey Murphy would be a 6"9 SF which could drastically help with the Nets rebounding issues. Additionally he can score very well, he's young and he's a great defender. His build very much fits into the Nets image and he'd be a long term positive on the team.

Mike Muscala would replace Day'Ron Sharpe as the backup C for the Nets. He can shoot the 3 pretty well and would provide way better spacing for Ben Simmons. If Ben Simmons and Mike Muscala come off/on the bench together rotating with the starting PG & C it might allow Ben Simmons to improve his offence.

Wizards would take on salary and get a 2nd round pick, Nets may have to give two 2nd round picks though.

Pelicans are currently just over the salary cap after their contract extension for Herb Jones. When adding that to Brandon Ingram, CJ and Zion's contracts it would make it hard to build a contender when Trey Murphy demands a larger contract. Royce O'Neale has had a great impact on the nets and will likely remain on cheapish contracts as he's in his 30's now.
