You already have a young core with contract extensions, could you excuse getting a veteran in Kyrie by saying that you'll still have Franz and Poalo after him. I'm not to sure about picks, as Kyrie is a better player but the mavericks are getting someone who is more on the timeline of Cooper Flagg. You tell me if picks should be involved.
