NOLA’s offense was running smoothly back in 2021 when they had a true PG, Lonzo Ball, running the show. Now they just look like they run iso ball. They finally change that up with this deal that sends Trae Young to New Orleans with AJ Griffin added on for Brandon Ingram, Larry Nance Jr. and picks.

New Orleans gets a true PG to pair with Zion, and they don’t have to worry as much about Trae’s defensive liabilities as other teams would because they have Herb Jones and Trey Murphy to help with that.

Atlanta can now shift over to having Dejounte Murray run the point, and BI and him could be a good pair together.
