Phoenix: Gets a very good shooting big with Vuc, and two good 3 and d guys, of which Brooks has been pretty good in Houston recently. They also get the most favourable 2029 first of PHX, DAL, or HOU, which will likely be a very good pick considering the age of PHX and DAL. Ishiba says he wants to keep trying to build a competitive roster around Booker, this might be the best they can do in that regard for a 37 year old KD.
Houston: Gets Kevin Durant to win now while only giving up one guy that actual contributes currently (Brooks), and not giving up any of their main young core. They give up two of the three PHX picks they owned, keeping the 2025 pick. Hou would still receive the second most favorable of the 2029 PHX, DAL, or HOU first rounders (with Dallas receiving the least favorable).
Chicago: Gets some good young pieces for a regressing Vuc.
Sacramento: Gets a lot of tradeable assets to sweeten deals in the future, and what could be a decent 2027 pick. Ellis may walk in FA anyways.
**I'm a Rockets diehard so I'm sure I'm biased but this seems like a decent trade at least for PHX and HOU, maybe CHI too, I'm not too sure if SAC would go for it.
